2021 Book Club

We love books and we love talking about books. In 2020 we spoke to three authors about their books, Ivana Bartoletti, Gemma Milne, and Simon Roberts (webinar).

And in October we shared our recommended reads for 2020.

So it makes sense to run a book club each month for our A+T curious readers. Curious because another tagline for the conference could easily be ‘a conference for the curious’.

At the end of each meeting, we’ll ask attendees to pitch the next book the group will read, and then we take a vote to decide.

January 2021

Weapons of Math Destruction by Cathy O’Neil.

We thought we’d start with a book some of you may have already read as an easy way to kick off our book club. And if you haven’t read it, now’s your chance.

Before we meet, we’ll send you some reading notes and links to interesting videos and articles.
