My mission is to get more social scientists to work with businesses. In my talk I aim to highlight some upcoming opportunities for collaboration, and make the case for why business and social scientists should work together.

About Adam

Adam Luqmani is a Senior Portfolio Manager at the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), which is part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), and is the UK’s largest organisation for funding research on economic and social issues. ESRC supports UK academics working on important and high quality social science research.

At ESRC, Adam works on business engagement and the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund. He has worked in UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) for three and a half years. Previously, Adam worked in an engineering consultancy. He has a doctorate in sustainability and innovation.
