Bidisha Chaudhuri

Assistant Professor, IIITB Bangalore

Bidisha Chaudhuri is an Associate Professor at International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore and affiliated to the Centre for IT and Public Policy. Her research interests include political economy of digital identity, information systems and sustainable development, critical data studies, sociology of work and automation, and technology ethics.

She is the coordinator of the M.Sc. Digital Society Programme and teaches courses on Digital Sociology, Science and Technology Studies, Technology Ethics and AI. Bidisha received her PhD in Political Science from South Asia Institute, Heidelberg University.
